Civic & Leadership Development

We are committed to empowering underserved communities through accountability mentorship, working to ensure south side communities serve as a safe living and working environment for individuals to thrive.  Here are a few of our initiatives to empower the community through Workforce Development

Youth Action Council (YAC)

YAC is a youth sports program. Administered in the Chicago Parks, YAC provides support to youth who are ready to be involved in their community and want to connect with other youth. The purpose of this initiative is to give all the youth including the LGBTQ+ community a voice to speak on their community, including needs and making a change while having fun playing volleyball, soccer, and more.
