What is YOL³O? 

YOL³O is a program under the Illinois Youth Investment Program (IYIP). Administered through the Department of Family and Community Services, the IYIP program provides support to youth who are ready to focus on an identified career path, sector, or industry-driven training. YOL³O will be implemented in the Lake County area through our Libertyville Office.

Who is the targeted population? 

The State is making an investment to ensure that Illinois’ at-hope youth population of 16-24 is not being left behind.

How long does YOL³O last and where does the funding come from?

This is a 10-month program that began in September 2020 from the Illinois Department of Human Services

What are the goals for YOL³O?  

The goal of the Illinois Youth Investment Program is to provide support to underprivileged youth to become trained and/or certified in a career and then enter the workforce in that related field.
